Viewing Full Header Information in MS Outlook 2007

The following information is useful in checking suspicious email messages:

For Outlook 2007:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Open a message.
  3. On the Message tab, in the Options group, click the Dialog Box Launcher icon image.
  4. In the Message Options dialog box, the headers appear in the Internet headers box.

For older versions of Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Open the message you'd like to view headers for.
  3. Click the View menu, and select Options....

The full headers will appear in a new window.

I noticed that on messages that are sent as attachments (for example when someone complains that the mail was delayed and you want to see the headers and ask them to attach it) the technique above does not produce full headers.
Anyone faced this in the past and what did you do to resolve it?

I agree: I cannot see full headers. This is BOGUS Microsoft product development! Sure, sometimes people might want to see only names, BUT I ALWAYS want to see names, braces, AND e-mail addresses, for TO, CC, and BCC.

This morning I have opened my MS Outlook and was amazed reason of all my emails were lost. I tried to restore, but I couldn't. Luckily for me I entered in the Internet and noticed a tool - mailbox.pst repair. It solved my trouble for seconds and free of charge as I bore in mind. Moreover the program showed me how it could process corrupted *.ost and *.pst files, it is safe, even if your mailbox is infected.
